It has a redundancy mode where every packet is sent on every internet connection you have. It does the VPN-thing and lets you come from one of our servers in a different country. On an Internet connection that loses 1 or 2% of packets, it can often double your throughput. (Two 7.5 Mbps DSL lines could be combined into on 14 or 15 Mbps link, for example) DSL plus a tethered mobile phone can be one great link.
